French River Fishing Recap 2021
With the river lower than normal for the majority of the season, it made fishing different. There were lots of fish to be caught with a change in tactics. The pine rapids directly across from the lodge were seldom a miss with plenty of walleye, bass, pike and catfish. It was definitely good for last minute fish fry contributions.
It was a good musky season with a new camp record as of September 7. Pat Gallik of Toronto caught this 56 1/2” monster.
We have paused our fishing contest due to the many outstanding claims. However, we will still honour past winners that have not been able to visit.
Here are a small gallery but all check the gallery on our website that has been loaded with 2020 and 2021 pics.
